NYSC ZONAL INSPECTOR EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO ZULUM OVER HIS CONTINUED SHOW OF COMPASSION TO CORP MEMBERS

The zonal inspector of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Comrade Koma Mohammed, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Babagana Zulum for his special love for corps members serving in the zone.
He made the remarks yesterday while reacting to the gesture of largesse splashed on Corp members and staff by the governor during a surprise visit to them.
The Zonal Inspector who spoke on behalf of the State Coordinator Bello Nasir expressed his deepest appreciation to Zulum for the fatherly role he has always displayed by placing high premium by way of attention to the security and welfare of corps members in Borno State
"On behalf of the entire NYSC family in Biu Zone, we sincerely express our profound gratitude to His Excellency for his generosity, encouragement, and exceptional leadership.
"We pray that the Almighty God continues to bless him with good health, divine wisdom, strength, and abundant grace as he continues to lead Borno State to greater heights," he remarked.
Koma said he was happy that corps members turned out en masse to welcome the Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Zulum, during his visit to the Emir’s Palace in Biu.
"His Excellency warmly interacted with the corps members and commended them for their dedication, resilience, and invaluable contributions to the development of Biu and Borno State at large.
"As a demonstration of his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Corps Members, the Governor," he noted, "graciously presented the sum of ₦50,000 each to 180 Corps Members in attendance as a token of appreciation and encouragement" for their service.
Koma, in a statement, also noted that the governor presented ₦200,000 each to two corps members who are nursing mothers and attended the event with their babies.
"This kind and thoughtful gesture reflects his deep concern for the well-being of corps members and their families.
"Furthermore, in recognition of the dedication and commitment of NYSC staff, His Excellency presented the sum of ₦250,000 to the Zonal Inspector and ₦100,000 each to other members of the NYSC staff and ₦100,000 to the Corp Liaison Officer (CLO).
"These extraordinary acts of generosity have once again demonstrated His Excellency’s unwavering support for the NYSC Scheme, his passion for youth development, and his genuine concern for the welfare of those serving in Borno State." Said the zonal inspector.
